Tammy is a Certified Optician and a Certified Paraoptometric Assistant. You will find her working in the Optical Department or in the back office as an Optometric Technician. In her spare time, you're likely to find Tammy riding horses or playing with her cat.
Lenda is our bookkeeper and insurance billing specialist. In her spare time, you're likely to find Lenda in her garden or playing with her grandchildren.
Barbi is the office manager. Her experience includes dentistry and fitness. In her spare time, you're likely to find her cooking, reading, beading, exercising or entertaining friends and family.
Shelly is an Optician as well as an Optometric Technician. She strives to offer excellent service to all of our patients with their vision needs. In her spare time, you can likely find her cooking, reading or enjoying the outdoors.
Tom has been a certified optician and contact lens dispenser since 1996. Heretired in 2015 but came out of retirement to help during the pandemic. Inhis spare time, he loves traveling the U.S., walking 5ks, and riding trailson a reverse trike.
Wendy is an Optometric Technician, assisting doctors with patient care. She has lived in Grass Valley for 30years. In her spare time, she likes to cook, exercise, garden, play roller derby and hangout with her awesome family: hubby, 4 grown kids and 3ill-tempered cats
Jennifer has recently returned to our practice as the PatientCommunications Specialist (after taking a short break to be a stay-at-homeand homeschool her young daughter). She enjoys reading, gardening, soapmaking, spending time with her family, and raising chinchilla rabbits.
Stuart grew up in the Santa Cruz mountains but now calls Grass Valley hishome. During his free time, he can be found haunting used book stores.
Jay moved to Grass Valley from San Jose in 2008 and comes from anemployment background in medical administration and insurance. When he isnot at work, he is very involved in the local theater community as aperformer, singer, FX, and voiceover artist.
At work you can bet I'm either geeking out on insurance and billing stuff or assisting the doctors by pretesting and triaging patients and at home I'm playing with my collection of semi-rare plants or loving on my critters.
Mary Ann loves to spend time with her family and furry children. Her hobbies are art, stained glass, working on home projects,and enjoying the outdoors.
